Made for long reading days
Eye tracking that keeps your hands on your notes.
Let your eyes handle the page. llocus turns the webcam already in your laptop into hands-free eye tracking, so PDFs keep moving, websites stay within reach, and your focus stays where it belongs.
- No special hardware
- No new study system
Studying already asks enough of you.

- RepeatHundreds of times
Less reaching. More reading.
llocus works beside the tools you already use. It removes the tiny physical interruptions without asking you to rebuild your workflow around it.
PDFs that keep pace
Auto line scrolling follows your reading rhythm, moving the page in small, useful steps instead of making you stop and hunt for the scroll bar.
Websites within sight
Look toward where you want to go, then use a deliberate confirmation to navigate. It is more comfortable than forcing every action through a mouse or a keyboard shortcut.
A gaze cursor you can learn
We rethought the eye cursor around intention, confirmation, and stability. It is designed to feel predictable instead of chasing every tiny movement your eyes make.
A model tuned to your eyes, on your machine
llocus finetunes a small model to your own eye data, on your own computer, and keeps it light enough to run beside the work you are actually doing. No webcam video is uploaded, no face data reaches our servers, and no cloud does the thinking.
Support on student time
A real person reads every report. Reproducible bugs get a same-day response and priority engineering attention while the product is in its early release cycle.
Built in the real world
Every laptop teaches the engine something useful.
We are starting with a small student pilot because study sessions expose llocus to long days, changing light, everyday webcams, and the huge variety of laptops people actually own. That feedback goes straight back into the engine.
We are early, and we will say so. If your setup finds a problem, you will reach the people building the fix, not a support maze.
Eye tracking questions, answered.
Do I need a special eye tracker?
No. llocus runs on the webcam already built into your laptop. There is no dedicated eye tracking hardware to buy, mount, or carry around.
Does llocus upload my webcam video?
No. llocus processes webcam frames on your own computer to work out where you are looking. Webcam video is never uploaded, and no face data reaches our servers. The only thing llocus can send is an error report when something breaks, and error reports are off until you switch them on.
How does llocus adapt to my eyes?
llocus finetunes a small model to your own eye data, and it does that on your computer rather than on a server. That model is yours: it is not uploaded, not pooled with anyone else's, and not used to train anything of ours.
Which operating systems does llocus support?
Windows and Linux at launch. The app is not purchasable yet, so join the waitlist and we will tell you the day it opens.
What does the eye tracking app cost?
$3.99 as a one-time launch purchase, with lifetime application updates. There is no subscription.
How is this different from just using the trackpad?
Reaching for the trackpad interrupts a thought hundreds of times a day. llocus removes the reach itself: auto line scrolling follows your reading rhythm, and navigation happens by looking where you want to go and confirming deliberately.
Is webcam eye tracking accurate enough to read with?
We designed the gaze cursor around intention, confirmation, and stability rather than chasing every tiny eye movement, so it stays predictable during long reading sessions. llocus is early, and a student pilot is testing it across real laptops, webcams, and changing lighting conditions.
Can our company build eye tracking into its own product?
Yes. The same engine is licensed as an eye tracking stack for desktop and embedded products, with documented integration and direct engineering support.
