Plain-language privacy note

Your camera stays on your device.

What the app does with your camera

llocus Desktop processes camera frames on your own computer to work out where you are looking. Video, face crops, facial landmarks, and facial data are not uploaded to our servers. The model is fine-tuned on your machine and stays there.

Optional error reports

Error reports are off by default. You decide whether to turn them on during onboarding, and you can change that decision later in settings. A report is text and JSON, not a camera or screen recording.

What an error report contains

A report describes the failure and the machine it happened on: the app and operating system version, hardware and camera model, performance figures such as frame rate and inference time, resource use, changes in tracking confidence, and the error itself. It contains no camera video, camera image, face crop, facial data, gaze history, or picture of your screen.

What the waitlist collects

When you join the waitlist, llocus stores your email address, the page where you joined, the time you consented, and the version of this notice you accepted. We do not store your IP address or browser details in the waitlist database.

What we use it for

We use your email to send the launch notice and occasional important product updates while llocus is being prepared for release. We do not sell the list or use it for unrelated advertising.

Who processes it

llocus is responsible for the waitlist. The form and database run on Cloudflare, which processes the submission as our infrastructure provider.

How long we keep it

You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address at any time. Remaining waitlist records will be deleted within 12 months after the public launch unless you separately choose to join another llocus mailing list.

Your choices

To see, correct, or delete your waitlist information, email [email protected]. Every waitlist email will also include an unsubscribe option.
